FPP X-RAY 100 ISO Black & White 120 Film
FPP X-RAY 100 is a medical x-ray film adapted for standard 120 medium format cameras. Its orthochromatic emulsion and lack of an anti-halation layer create soft glow, visible grain, and a distinctly different black and white look.
Key Features
- ISO 100 black and white x-ray film
- Adapted for standard 120 medium format cameras
- Orthochromatic emulsion
- No anti-halation layer for increased diffusion and glow
- 120 backing paper with frame numbering
- 0.1mm polyester base with anti-static layer
Handling
This film is sensitive to light piping, so load and unload it in dim light. Keep unused and exposed rolls in a light-tight bag, including when stored in a refrigerator or freezer.
Developing
FPP X-RAY 100 can be handled under a Kodak 15W red safelight and developed using standard black and white chemistry. For home processing, use Kodak D-76 or FPP 76 for approximately six minutes at 68°F.
Unique Black & White Results
Expect bold grain, soft highlights, and a glowing edge effect that separates this film from traditional 120 black and white stocks. It's a great choice for experimental portraits, landscapes, and creative medium format work.
