Answers to Your Film Processing Questions

How will I receive my scans?

Once your film has been processed and scanned, we'll email you a WeTransfer link to your JPG files (unless you choose Tiffs). Click the link, download your photographs, and you're ready to share them, print them, and love them for years to come.

Keep in mind we use the email listed in this form to send you scans - make sure you check for any mistakes and always send your (easy to read) info with your film before sending.

Do you process disposable (also called single-use) cameras?

Yes! We process disposable cameras all the time. Once we remove the 35mm film, it goes through our regular processing just like any other roll. And there's no extra charge for processing a disposable camera.

How long does it take?

C-41 color film typically takes 5-7 business days to process. Black & white and E-6 slide film take a little longer.

Our turnaround times are based on business days, Monday through Friday, and begin when we receive your film. During especially busy periods or scheduled equipment maintenance, processing may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience and will always work to get your photographs back to you as quickly as we can.

How long do you keep my negatives? Can I get them mailed back to me?

If you select to keep your negatives, we store them in our shop for 30 days before we dispose them. If you would like them mailed back to you, we can do that too.

I was told my roll is blank - what happened?

A blank roll can happen for a few different reasons. The film may not have been loaded correctly, the camera may not have advanced or operated properly, or, in rare cases, there may have been an issue during processing.

If your roll comes back blank, please reach out to us. We're happy to to help you figure out what may have happened. If we determine that the blank roll was caused by an issue on our end, we'll make it right.

It's my first time, how do I know what to do?

We've got you! There is an entire page explaining the process for you.

I have processed, 4x5 film I would like to get scanned. What are my options?

We can flat bed or drum scan your 4x5 film. Contact us for pricing.
