Photography is about more than the gear. Whether you’re looking to sell a camera, get a little help with your photography, or give your equipment some care, we’re here to help.
Consignment and Trade-Ins
Ready to move on from a camera or lens? We accept working cameras and lenses for consignment and trade-in. Bring your gear to the shop, and we’ll take it from there.
How consignment works:
- Bring in your gear. Equipment must be in working condition and include any required batteries and chargers.
- We test it. We’ll evaluate your gear and give you an estimated selling price.
- You decide. We’ll complete the paperwork, and you can approve or decline our suggested price. Your gear remains yours until it sells, so you can change your mind and pick it up at any time before then.
- Get paid. When your gear sells, we split the sale 70/30 — 70% to you and 30% to Essential. Your check will be ready 10 days after the sale.

Sensors & Camera Cleaning
Camera & Sensor Cleaning
Give your camera a little care. We offer camera and sensor cleaning for $35 per camera.
Most cleanings are completed the same day, so you can drop off your camera, grab a coffee, and come back to a fresh, clean camera that's ready to go.
