FPP Sonic 25 is an ultra-fine-grain black and white film with bold contrast and a subtle glowing quality. Originally made for recording optical sound, it has been respooled for 35mm still photography.

Distinctive Orthochromatic Look
Sonic 25 responds differently than standard panchromatic film, producing crisp detail, strong tonal separation, and a slightly luminous look. It works especially well in daylight or with daylight-balanced lighting.
Best for Bright Conditions
With its slow ISO 25 speed, Sonic 25 is best suited to bright outdoor scenes or controlled lighting. The result is sharp, graphic black and white imagery with very little grain.
