FPP Low ASA 1.6 ISO Color 35mm Film
Looking for something different? FPP Low ASA 1.6 is an ultra-low-speed color negative film that delivers soft contrast and unusual color shifts you won't find in traditional color films. It's made for bright daylight, long exposures, and photographers who enjoy experimenting.
Originally Made for Motion Picture Labs
This film started life as Kodak duplicating stock used in motion picture post-production. In a 35mm camera, it produces color negatives with a unique look that's anything but ordinary. Expect subtle, offbeat colors and a distinctly cinematic feel.
Features
- Ultra-low ISO 1.6 color negative film
- 24 exposures on 35mm film
- Standard C-41 processing
- Soft contrast with distinctive color shifts
- No remjet layer for easy home or lab processing
- Ideal for bright daylight and long exposures
Exposure Tips
Set your camera or handheld meter to ISO 1.6 for the best results. If your camera won't go that low, set it to ISO 25 and open your aperture by four stops to compensate.
Processing & Film Characteristics
This film develops in standard C-41 chemistry, making it easy to process at home or through any lab that handles color negative film. It does not use a remjet backing.
Rather than being balanced for daylight or tungsten, this film was designed for laser, CRT, and LED light sources. That means color can shift depending on the scene, giving each roll its own personality.
Built for Durability
An anti-static layer helps reduce dust attraction after processing, while a protective backing improves scratch resistance and keeps the film moving smoothly through your camera.
