Refined Focusing Performance
Dual linear motors give you quick, quiet, and precise autofocus with smooth tracking. You also get intuitive manual focus control and an AF/MF switch right on the barrel for easy switching between modes. The internal focusing design means faster focusing and no lens extension during operation. Get close with a 6.7" minimum focusing distance (0.15x magnification in manual focus mode, or 7.9" with 0.12x in autofocus). Plus, Smooth Motion Optics suppresses focus breathing so your compositions stay tight when you shift focus, and it's compatible with Alpha cameras' Breathing Compensation function.
