What does "orthochromatically" mean? We don't know, so we asked the lab:
"Orthochromatically" refers to something, often photographic film, that is sensitive to light. Specifically, orthochromatic film is sensitive to blue and green light, but not red light. This means that when using orthochromatic film, reds and oranges will appear much darker than they do in reality compared to blues and greens of equal brightness.
